The 2010 Etape du Tour is back in the Pyrenees making this 3 out of the last 4 years that the Etape has been in our back yard. This years stage looks to be a good one, both in distance and the climbs. You can't get much better than a mountain top finish on the top of the Giant itself, the Tourmalet.

We will pick you up from Toulouse airport on the Friday evening and transfer you back to our centre in Luscan. After building the bikes we will then sit down for the eveing meal and go through the routes planned for the next few days.
We have several cyclosportives on our doorstep so why not try one of these courses out. We will head out over the Comminges taking in half of the Col des Ares before looping around and taking on the Port de Balés. This is also featured in the 2010 tour. Then comes the Peyresourde that you descended yesterday. The final 50 km is rolling countryside back to the centre.

We will be starting a little down the course to take in the 3 climbs of the day. The Marie Blanque is first up and is quite a tough one, short and steep. But after that you will recognise the road from yesterday as we head to the base of the Soulor. This way up the Soulor is very picturesque and relatively long. Once at the top there is a very welcome café stop. Then it is the final attack, a 20 km lead in to the base of the Giant. The Tourmalet is 18 km and spectacular, the best side to climb. You will be at the top in no time at all.
After breakfast you can pack away your bikes and thenwe will head out to Toulouse airport in plenty of time to catch the afternoon flights.
